November 4

A Day In Review

A day which became notorious about 30 years ago was brought back to life. The sounds of students protesting by Tehran University in 1978 was reborn in 2009 as university students chanted anti government slogans. Basij and Sepah militia men flooded the streets attacking protestors. You could hear the noise of 100 motorcycles of security forces whirring throughout the day as they attempted to lay down the law by attacking innocents. This did not stop people from joining the masses, a crowd that began of a 1,000 in 7 tir increased slowly and helped prevent other protestors from being arrested. Reformist leader Mehdi Karroubi joined the masses in Tehran and had everyone chanting “long live Karroubi.” They resisited from security forces and instead of hitting they screamed “We will go to war we will go to war, we will die, will die, we will take back Iran”

Here is all of the videos from today’s protest.
